PROTEST CISPA TOMORROW!!!

I know I have done any work or journals here on dA in awhile but this is VERY IMPORTANT, OUR INTERNET FREEDOMS MIGHT BE AT STAKE!!

To my American friends and watchers, recently the US House of Representatives passed the Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA), this act would allow websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Facebook, Tumbler, DEVIANTART to take your PERSONAL INFORMATION and hand to the US Government and Military for said reasons being "For cyber security" and I quote "CISPA would allow Internet Service Providers and other Web-themed companies to share information about their users with the government and one another under the guise of "cyber-security" – with increased protection against any privacy lawsuits that their users might bring as a result." It's SOPA meets Big Brother from 1984 here people!!

To protest, I am taking inspiration from Anonymous, the freedom fighter/ vigilantes of the Internet; I WILL NOT BE ON DA OR USE THE INTERNET TO PROTEST THIS UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACT.

I HOPE MY FELLOW AMERICAN FRIENDS AND WATCHERS WILL FOLLOW MY LEAD AND SPREAD THE WORD! REPOST THIS JOURNAL AND LETS FIGHT FOR OUR INTERNET RIGHTS!
